Although large, most of the useable space was obstructed by lawn and shrubs. The old tarmac drive was becoming mossy and was absorbing the much-needed light in this north-facing aspect. This space needed opening and brightening up with a new design.

The property had an interesting history and is part of a grade II listed conversion. With no back garden, some element of privacy was required to allow our clients to enjoy their garden space. And with small grandchildren, they needed a safe, low maintenance design.
