Current Employment Opportunities at The Garden Design Co.

Team Leader – Landscaping

Do you manage a landscaping team? Tired of having to do so many other things that stop you getting on with it?

Then this job is for you.

In this role, you have all the expertise around you to let you get on with what you enjoy – leading your team whilst working outdoors on the tools.

We are an award-winning (domestic) garden design and build company. We have an established history of over 10 years’ success, and care for our customers and staff alike. Visit our website thegardendesignco.co.uk to see some of our amazing work and customer endorsements.

FIRSTLY, you’ll need a range of hard landscaping skills, like laying patios, erecting structures, building retaining walls, etc.

SECONDLY (but almost more importantly!), you will have a positive attitude to not only your own work but also managing a great team. You will have a hands-on ‘leading from the front’ mentality. providing directing, motivating and mentoring your small but hard-working team of labourers and experienced landscapers.

You will manage and take part in all onsite aspects of transforming our customers’ gardens, from planning the build, to assessing the final quality of work, within agreed targets and deadlines.

You will work in customer’s gardens in Leicestershire and surrounding counties, working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. This is a permanent position employed directly within the company – the same as your team.

A great opportunity awaits.

We provide structured career progression, with skills development (including management and leadership) that is second to none.

Branded uniform, tools, and a company van all come with the opportunity, along with the perks of being employed by a friendly but ambitious business.

If successful, you will be contacted for a phone interview as the first stage.
