A Subtly Detailed Driveway Design for a Newly Renovated Home
- Front Garden
- Sandstone Paving, Tegula Blocks, Resin
Our Leicestershire-based clients needed their driveway to blend seamlessly with their newly renovated house. The spacious area was very open to the public footpath. And the old block paving was looking weathered and tired. The driveway needed a facelift to set off the house and make a good first impression.
The landscaping materials selected were in similar tones of grey maintaining a modern aesthetic our client desired. Practical considerations are needed with a driveway design and the choice of resin and modern blocks ensured the driveway would be permeable whilst withstanding use from cars.
To define the boundary between the pathway and the drive, oak sleepers matching the porch guided guests along a dedicated entrance path. These incredibly low maintenance options mean the driveway stays pristine for longer, perfect for the front of the home.
By transforming the driveway, the front space is instantly lifted. Complementary tones of grey and oak bring the style of the garden bang up to date complemented the modern appearance of their home. Now our client can make the best first impression possible, boosting kerb appeal and the value of the home by up to 20%.
