Our Leicestershire-based clients were due to retire and had an overgrown garden they wanted to enjoy their new found free time in. The bottom of their steeply sloped space was so overgrown, it was never used.
Ready to take on the next chapter of their lives, they desired a garden designed with plants at the forefront to attract wildlife and places to sit a relax throughout the space.
Starting with flattening out key areas, new useable patio spaces were formed at the top and the very bottom of the garden. Our clients wanted plenty of scope for encouraging wildlife. Large borders wrapped around the new seating areas and a cascading stream attracts a whole host of birds and critters.
The ample patio spaces were formed from classic buff sandstone paving in a free flow design wrapping around the house. Lush lawn space connected the two top patios with an intimate sunken area for cosy night times around a free- standing fire bowl.
This cottage feel garden creates the ultimate space for any wildlife and plant lover. The sandstone patios are super easy to keep clean and the seasonal planting offers interest and attraction to wildlife all year round. Now our clients can enjoy their retirement in the garden of their dreams.
