Our clients in Nottingham envisioned a garden that would serve as both a retreat and a versatile outdoor living space. They desired a seamless integration of luxury and functionality, creating an area that would feel like a getaway while accommodating daily outdoor living. The design aimed to create distinct yet cohesive spaces for relaxation, social gatherings, and culinary enjoyment.

Design Highlights

The wooden outbuilding, crafted with rich, warm tones, serves as the main focal point of the garden, providing a shaded, comfortable seating area that invites relaxation. It houses a well-equipped outdoor kitchen with a built-in BBQ, seamlessly integrating culinary functionality within the same sheltered space. The setup encourages alfresco dining and makes it easy to host gatherings in a cosy, shaded environment, where guests can enjoy meals in close proximity to the seating area.

The seating areas are designed to foster social interaction and relaxation, with comfortable, inviting furniture that encourages people to gather around the table or lounge on the sofas. Together, these elements create a cohesive and versatile outdoor space that balances comfort, style, and functionality.

The paving throughout the garden was meticulously selected to elevate the luxurious and welcoming atmosphere. Tumbled Mint Sandstone Setts and Traditional DesignBoard Decking were chosen for their durability and timeless aesthetic, adding a refined finish to the pathways and seating zones that enhances the garden’s overall appeal.
