The Problem: New Home with Limited Privacy
Our Leicestershire-based client had just moved into their brand-new build home and faced the typical blank canvas. This site mostly laid to lawn was uninspiring and completely unusable. Overlooked by neighbours, they needed a place where they could relax and unwind without feeling exposed. The perfect scenario for us to create their private dream garden.
Grey sandstone paving forms the main patio space incorporating a circular spotlight patio to capture the best of the sunlight during the day. A white rendered outdoor kitchen creates the ultimate entertaining area of the garden, covered with a timber and cedar shingle shelter. The shelter not only provides protection from the sun or light showers it also acts as a screen from neighbouring windows. Making this a completely private area of their new garden.
A hot tub is nestled in the back corner and slightly sunken down for extra privacy. With views of the entire garden, this is the perfect spot to relax after a long, hard day at work.
The Final Result
This relatively small garden packs in a lot of useable space for all of our clients’ needs. And actually, feels much bigger than it is thanks to a cleverly laid out design. Every part of this garden has a purpose, looks stylish and is completely functional. High-quality materials such as the white render and porcelain planks complement the modern feel of the home and match our client’s taste perfectly. Outside living at its best!
