Our clients wanted a larger space for entertaining and relaxing while still encompassing the gardens’ level change. Smooth sawn sandstone with complemented rustic faced bricks creates a contemporary edge to the space. A curving raised bed forms a seating nook on the main patio breaking up the expanse of the paving. The use of the circular lawn helps maintain an element of green space. It faces a lounging area covered with a beautifully stained oak pergola and heat lamps that take the edge off cooler evenings. The perfect spot for reading a book or enjoying a glass of wine, while listening to the relaxing rustle of the bamboo in the background.
