The Problem: A Large Disconnected Garden

Our Warwickshire-based clients desired a garden inspired by the surrounding woodland, suitable for wildlife and their young dog. Several mature pine trees dominated the space and often with a large garden, it can feel vast and disconnected from the home. Different areas needed linking together to create a more useable place to enjoy.

Our Solution

Introducing a timber shelter aids privacy from neighbours and also balances the garden with the huge pine trees. It also provides another spot to relax and enjoy the space from another viewpoint. With new festoon lighting lacing the framework, the shelter creates a cosy woodland lodge feel.

A winding pathway connects patio areas together and creates wide flower beds to fill with wildlife-friendly planting. The smaller flower bed dressed in scotch cobbles adds an additional eye-catching element to the design. Further up the garden, a free-flowing woodland area makes a feature of the stunning trees.

The Final Result

Complementary tones of grey and timber carry the essence of the woodland style whilst complementing the modern and contemporary look of their home. The planting maintains a structured yet natural feel, encouraging wildlife and safe for their little dog to roam freely.
